About Milago

AI-powered meeting intelligence by Milago Technologies Private Limited

What Milago does

Milago is an AI notetaker for meetings. It records, transcribes, and summarizes your calls — turning every meeting into clear action items, decisions, key insights, and searchable knowledge, so nothing important is lost after the conversation ends.

You can capture a meeting in three ways: record live from your browser, upload an existing audio or video file, or send the Milago notetaker bot to join your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams call. Once a meeting is captured, Milago transcribes it, detects the meeting type, and generates summaries, tasks, and decisions tailored to that kind of meeting.

How it works

  • Record — capture from your browser, upload a file, or send the Milago notetaker to a Zoom, Meet, or Teams meeting.
  • Process — Milago transcribes the meeting and uses AI to extract tasks, decisions, and key insights automatically.
  • Act — summaries and tasks flow into your Milago workspace and connected productivity and AI tools, so follow-ups happen without manual note-taking.

Why Milago connects to your Google Account

Milago offers two optional Google connections. You are always in control: neither is required to create an account, and you can disconnect either one at any time.

Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Milago uses your basic Google profile — your name, email address, and profile picture — only to create and secure your Milago account. This uses the standard openid, email, and profile scopes.

Connect Google Calendar

If you connect your Google Calendar, Milago requests exactly two scopes:

  • See the events on your Google calendars (read-only)
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly
  • View your Google email address
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

Milago uses this read-only calendar access to detect your upcoming meetings — reading each event's title, time, attendees, and meeting link (such as a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams URL). This lets Milago show your upcoming meetings and, for the specific meetings you choose, automatically send the notetaker to join and record them at the scheduled time. Your email address is used only to identify which Google account is connected.

Milago's calendar access is strictly read-only. Milago never creates, edits, deletes, or moves events on your calendar, and it only reads the calendar of the account you explicitly connect.

How Milago uses and protects your Google data

  • Google Calendar data is used solely to detect and join the meetings you choose to record. It is never used for advertising, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Connection tokens are encrypted at rest, and all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
  • You can disconnect Google at any time from your Milago settings. This immediately stops all further access and removes the stored connection.

Limited Use disclosure. Milago's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
